Birth Roots Belly

Obsessed!!

OK, its official- I've become obsessed with my photography business! So, I would just like to apologize if we see each other walking down the street or at the grocery store and you casually ask me how I am and I answer with a 10 minute monologue about my 2009 business plan or how the moist air is saturating all the colorful plants... I've caught myself doing this! But, I can't help it! I'm loving it!

Great early morning shoot at the homestead of Victoria and Michael- perched upon on a beautiful hill overlooking the water! I photographed some headshots for Victoria, who is a writer and host of a great blog http://www.projecthomestead.com/ Check it out! . Ok, 2 things to say- one, she looks like a teenager, two, she is wearing no makeup... check out her skin in these shot!

First Spring Shoot

Yesterday was my first Spring shoot of 2009 and it was amazing! Its definitely time for photos. The air is moist and the colors are saturated. My number one goal in all my photo sessions is to get the most natural smiles or emotions that I possibly can. This was definitely not a problem with Sheila's kids! They were lit up and loving not having to wear a coat. Not to mention that Sheila's kids are so adorable and Sheila dresses them impeccably cool!
