A beautiful little flower
A beautiful flower plucked fresh from my home grown, organic garden. (just kidding- its a weed, from my aunts, photoshopped, but its so pretty...).

Goodbye to our beloved babysitter,Lara :[
Well, it happened.. she left us. Goodbye Lara, you will be sorely missed my friend.
Lara was our babysitter for a year and a half, (we've never gone past 3 months before). I can't say enough about her, through thick and thin, tummy aches (mostly Laras ;)) and the switching of careers she hung on and and smiled through it all. Whoever out there gets her next you are the luckiest family in the world!

Amazing Freeport Woman
Since I've officially opened my business in 2009, I have had the opportunity to photograph some amazing woman here in Freeport. What I've noticed is that these woman are passionate about 2 things. First and foremost, they want to be, and strive to be, and are the best moms ever. Seriously, these moms are reading the ingredients, closely monitoring screen time, making sure the kids are active- but giving room for down time, volunteering at school! I mean, I've been seeing this time and time again. BUT.. what really makes me respect these woman even more is that they are also running their own creative businesses- writing amazing articles in nationally publicized magazines, opening up their own yoga studio, creating delicious meals for charity- then writing articles on them -then getting them published, designing their own clothes, teaching Aikido and being a therapist- I mean, come on!!!! Here's to the moms that are juggling and making it work- whether it be by necessity or by creative choice, I lift my glass of red wine to you all!

Gardening is "out" this year.
So, I have officially declared that gardening is "out" this year. Meaning uncool, unhip and plain ole waste of time. This is due to the fact that I am too busy, too budget crunching and too lazy to start a respectable garden of my own this season. So, I have decided to photograph what we have instead... But trust me, when I'm driving by your beautiful gardens or picking my sisters and neighbors delicious veggies (when their on vaca of course) I will be jealous, but ok with it.
