Daisy & Nick!

What a fantastic wedding I photographed yesterday. I have sooooo many images to look through between Ingrid and I. Daisy and Nick are a wonderful couple who seem to know each other inside and out. Everything had a warm and very personal touch. Daisy made her own beautiful dress AND the really awesome ties for all the groomsmen, her aunt did the flowers, her good friend sang and on and on. I love weddings like theirs. Everything means something. Here are a few shots with many more to come later this week. Congratulations guys!! You were beautiful!!!!

Cool Photo

Back in my school days my dream was to work for "Interview" Magazine. I loved the grainy blk and white and color editorial photography they did. It never did happen for me (but many other good things did :)), but I bumped into a friend of mine in NYC a few years back and and guess what? Yes, she is the director of "something or something" at Interview Magazine!! So I got a tour of Interview Magazine and met all her totally hip friends and it was great. No, I'm not jealous, she totally deserves it. If somebody could just explain to me "how" she deserves it that would be ok. Just kidding Sandy!!!!
Here is a shot from the last rehearsal dinner I photod that I grained up a bit and played around with. Maybe if someone from the magazine is "blog stalking" me they might see this and hire me... Hey...you never know... it could happen, right??;)

Daisy and Nicks Rehearsal Dinner

Tonight was the rehearsal dinner for Daisy and Nick in NH! Great time, great place and great bones! What a very laid back, lovely couple. Daisy has this very gentle elegant style to her that I can't wait to capture more of tomorrow. Heres a couple I picked for a quick "sneak peak" before I go to bed!

Putki Pu

You may remember me mentioning a designer friend of mine a few months back, Sara Gideon. She has just started to take orders for her ultra adorable children's clothing line called Putki Pu!! Sara put together for me, in 3 days no less, these adorable bloomers for my photo shoot! They are soooooo adorable I had to photograph them on Alyssa, on a tree, on a fence, on a twig...... love them!!!!!

Who is this beauty under these bloomers you ask? Well, thats Alyssa... more of her to come!

Rain

It Monday and its raining again! Yes, that exclamation point was in happiness. I am one of the few that love rainy days, multiple rainy days. Whether it be the coziness I feel, the sound of rain on the pavement and on the trees, the color it brings out or just the fact that when its raining I feel relaxed. Here are a couple of photos I took in the rain last night of our flowering trees.

New Website Look

I've spent the last hour trying to make my website look a little more professional. So...if you have a minute, take a peek and let me know what you think. I've also removed that god awful music, that came with the package (just fyi) and decided to have nothing play until I can figure out how to actually download music from the Internet. I'm sure it will only be another 6 months or so.
So, what to do in the meantime??? Well, try this...Go to youtube.com and put in "What a day for a daydream", by Paolo Nutini, (make sure its Paolo), this young, melt my heart away, Scottish guy who sounds like a little old man singing. Then quickly go to my website in another window and play that song while my website is rolling. That's what will happening here in the near future, I hope!
