Feel the need to show off

These are some of the sketches that Gardy did on vaca. Can you believe the apple??? I took an apple from the fruit bowl and put it on the tabel and he drew it like this. The flowers I asked him to draw for me on earth day.
What a guy.

Collage crazy

What have we done on spring vacation you all ask??? Well, absolutly nothing! Literally, we hung at home mostly and mostly at the dining room table. Gardy drew and sketched like a madman and Aaron and I putzed around all week. So relaxing - we are definitely not looking forward to going back to school and really I envy the homeschoolers. If I was only organized ,that would be my gig.
I'll post some photos up later of his drawings. For now, just showing off my new collage skills. Much easier than they look. (not that they look so hard but...).

Miss you little old blog!

Now that I have my new professional blog, new office and of course my new image with my new Susie Ormond/Sally Jessie Rafael haircut I have forgotten my roots! So, this will be where I post my darling little boys, embarrassing things about my husband (KIDDING!) and whatever else I feel thats inappropriate for the new blog. So I'm back and hopefully I can keep this one up because I love writing on this for some reason.

Photos will be posted soon, (have to now go to the office to download photos, aaaaarghhhh), from today when I kept the kids home from school. It was about 75 degrees and I just couldn't imagine Gardy sitting in the class all day pining to be outside. And really, we all needed a heavy dose of vitamin d. Right? I did make him practice his piece (piano song, but that what Tony calls it), for his recital 6 times in a row and he will be reading to his brother after dinner for 25 minutes. So thats good right??

We climbed to the top of Bradbury Mountain with a picnic on my back. The climb started out rocky with me stepping in the puddle and yelling the F word at the top of my lungs that echoed thru the mountain (seriously echoed). But, of course, Gardy was oblivious to the fact that I swore and Aaron turned to me looking like he was going to wink at me, full of pride. Boy, these 2 could not be more different in this way. Anyway, by the time we got up my foot was dry and we had the most beautiful and relaxing day. Photos to be displayed on Thursday (can't believe that I have to leave my house to download photos!)
